   This jacket exceeded my expectations. The quality is really nice. It is thicker than expected and says you can wear it to keep warm in temps as low as 7 degrees. Since I live in MN this is great! I got the olive color and like that it is a bit darker. You can singe in the waist to make it figure flattering. This is my new go to for running errands. Wonderful quality for the price.

   If you’re looking for a thick, cozy parka with solid construction *and* you don’t mind a little bit of bulk, this coat is for you. The parka’s trench-like styling, Olivine color, and likelihood of being warm all appealed to the minimalist in me. I’m borderline petite at 5’5″ / 138lbs but broad-shouldered and athletic; I ordered the XS (closer to my size 2-4) instead of intuitively going for a small.

   Unboxing was nice – the color was as pictured/hoped, and the construction and materials all feel great. This is definitely a warm and thick coat, though not a lightweight one. Unfortunately, this ended up feeling and looking like a cross between a hooded snuggie x sleeping bag on me – so seriously consider sizing down from your numerical size unless you’re very busty/curvy. Cinching didn’t help and mostly redistributed the bulk toward my chest/shoulders and thighs, and I still just felt swallowed by fabric. Sad this didn’t work for me and my body type, but I think others may fare better.
